the hidden treasure...

a fake octopus

Experimenting is the basis of photography. The more you experiment, the more you will enjoy the learnings...it's all practical. Take this picture for example. Can anyone guess how i got this pic which made me post this here?

Well, i removed the petals from a china rose. Sat under the shade of a roof. The background is a small table with brown tint and the time was around 4pm. The sun was going down in the opposite direction and to my luck there were clouds around. A small reflection onto that decolam table and the placing of this petal-less flower.....look at the shot again for the answer! Some think this to be crazy.....some call the same thing as creativity....the more you experiment, the better judge you become of your camera.

The best year of our lives

The best year of our lives spent together...

Stand by Me!

The lives of others...

A simple macro shot clicked around 4pm in natural light. Flowers grown in my house in a different appeal. Living by themselves yet emanating beauty brilliantly...

Once upon a time in the greens...

I haven't fiddled with the colour or anything. Its all natural. The more pics i clicked of this flower, the more varient it turned out to be...I enjoyed the beauty of this flower to such an extent that it is finding its place here as the chosen one! As the story goes....once upon a time in the greens...

Spark called Life!

Fire on display is an amusing thing with a camera. I have experimented a lot taking photographs of fire in different forms. This one was taken at a weilding shop. The guy doing the cutting with the machine was concentrating on the rod ignoring the sparks flying at him whereas i was enjoying the sparks capturing them into my camera. Sparks called Life!
